About Us
Our mission is to positively impact the lives of our local youth by providing structured character education and life skill programs through the game of golf. To date, we have enrolled nearly 750 youth with the hopes of increasing enrollment to 1,000 participants in 2010. We have formed exciting partnerships with local nonprofits such as the Boys & Girls Club, YMCA and City Recreational Departments. Our programs are taught at area golf facilities and local elementary schools by over 35 trained and dedicated volunteers. The organization has also secured five founding partners including Kiawah Island Real Estate, Kiawah Island Resort, Daniel Island Real Estate and the Lyndhurst Foundation to donate $77,500 over the next four years. We have seen many successes in our first year but are setting goals to make a greater positive impact in the Greater Charleston community and with its youth.
