The First Day of Programming The First Tee launched its first day of programming on June 17th. Nineteen participants from the YMCA of Greater Charleston came out and learned the basics on grip, aim and setup but more importantly how to have fun while learning something new. Then later that afternoon, fourteen participants from the Boys & Girls Club of the Trident area took part in SNAG Baseball and a chipping relay race where they learned how to demonstrate sportsmanship. Both programs were a huge success thanks to the YMCA, Boys & Girls Club and our great volunteers. We continue to look forward to working with these participants throughout the summer months! |
